East Point Housing Authority’s 2025 Annual & 5-Year Strategic Planning Sessions  

Draft Copy of the Proposed FY 2025 Housing Agency Plan & Five Year Action Plan FY 2025 – FY 2029

This notice is to advise you that the “Draft” of the proposed 2025 Annual and 5-Year Plan is complete and is now available for the Resident and Community review and comment period. After the 30/45-day review and comment period, the plan will be submitted to the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the City of East Point, Georgia, on June 24, 2025, for final approval and submission to HUD.

The Housing Authority has prepared the Agency Plan in draft form and offers the draft for public review beginning on March 31, 2025, through May 30, 2025. The draft is available for review at these locations:

Management Offices, at 3056 Norman Berry Drive, Resident Council Bldg. at 3047 John Freeman Way, Community Bldg. at 1148 Calhoun Ave, East Point Public Library, at 2757 Main Street (East Point Library), during normal hours of operation 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday., and website: www.eastpointha.org.

The purpose of the hearing is to allow residents, the general public, and other interested parties an opportunity to comment on the draft of the Authority's Annual and Five-Year Plan prior to submission to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

In addition, it will provide an opportunity to express desired priorities and concerns for the following: The Authority's Public Housing Developments and The Authority's Housing Choice Voucher Rental Program. EPHA includes the record of comments and responses in the final Annual Plan submission package to HUD. All comments during the 30-day comment period should be submitted in writing to Michael Spann, Executive Director Office, 3056 Norman Berry Drive, East Point GA, 30344 or preferably to mspann@eastpointha.org no later than Thursday, May 09, 2025.
