Portability

Please review the following information to assist you in your decision to port to our jurisdiction.
East Point Housing Authority (EPHA) is not absorbing; we are currently BILLING!

EPHA’s Billing Code is GA078

If you would like to port to our jurisdiction, please have your Initial Housing Authority (IHA) send the required information to the email below:

East Point Housing Authority
3056 Norman Berry Drive
East Point, GA 30344
Tel: 404-768-0078
Fax: 404-669-0056
ephaportins@eastpointha.org

Once we have received your information from your IHA, we will contact you via email. Please make sure that you have provided your IHA with your up-to-date contact email address and telephone number.

The average lease up time is currently 45 to 60 days from the time we receive your completed Portability Package. Therefore, if you have already moved from your current assisted unit, it is important that you have temporary housing arranged prior to porting into our jurisdiction.

• PAYMENT STANDARDS are used to help determine what the participants rent amount will be,
they DO NOT equal the amount a participant will qualify for in rent! We will provide the
participant with a Manual Calculation Sheet showing the Maximum Contract Rent for the family.

Our current Payment Standards are posted on our website at: https://www.eastpointha.org.

EPHA covers the following areas/zip codes:
