It is the mission of the East Point Housing Authority to provide and encourage the development of quality affordable housing for individuals and families while promoting self-sufficiency and neighborhood revitalization.

The Housing Authority of the City of East Point Georgia is committed to providing affordable housing opportunities to the residents of East Point and adjoining communities in Fulton County. A critical component in assisting families is to provide easily accessible information regarding the variety of programs and services offered by the Housing Authority. With that in mind, the Housing Authority has redesigned the website to create a comprehensive and fluid site that delivers information quickly and efficiently. Some highlights of the website are as follows:

• The Housing Choice Voucher Program tab provides information about the Housing Choice Voucher Program (formally Section 8) and Waiting Lists updates.
• The Public Housing Program tab provides information about our Public Housing Program, and Waiting Lists updates.
• For companies and organizations wishing to do business with the Housing Authority, or those seeking employment opportunities, the Work With Us tab provides information regarding bid opportunities and the procurement policies of the Agency.

It is important for the Housing Authority to be accessible and available to their residents along with its Community Partners and Stakeholders. Every day, as families and individuals reach out to the Agency for help, staff is reminded of the purpose and mission of the organization as a public housing agency. Therefore, as we improve and evolve, the agency will continue its momentum toward increasing the availability of housing for people in need, while providing opportunities for self-sufficiency and improving the quality of affordable housing in a way that assures sustainable, livable communities for residents of East Point and Fulton County.
