Terms Agreement
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, applying for, or participating in programs, services, or systems provided by the East Point Housing Authority (“EPHA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you should not use EPHA services except as required by law.
2. Purpose of Services
EPHA provides housing assistance, property management, and related services in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including requirements established by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
3. Eligibility and Accuracy of Information
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
- Promptly report any changes in household composition, income, or status as required
- Cooperate with verification, recertification, and compliance processes
Providing false or misleading information may result in denial or termination of assistance, repayment obligations, or other actions allowed by law.
4. Use of EPHA Systems and Communications
If you use EPHA websites, portals, or electronic communications, you agree:
- Not to misuse, interfere with, or attempt unauthorized access to EPHA systems
- To use EPHA services only for lawful and intended purposes
- That EPHA communications (including email, portal messages, or mail) may be used for official notices
5. Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal information is handled in accordance with EPHA’s Privacy Agreement and applicable laws. Acceptance of these Terms also constitutes acknowledgment of EPHA’s privacy practices.
6. Compliance With Laws and Policies
You agree to comply with:
- All applicable federal, state, and local laws
- HUD regulations and EPHA policies
- Lease agreements, program rules, and house rules (if applicable)
Failure to comply may result in program denial, termination, or enforcement actions consistent with due process requirements.
7. Disclaimers
EPHA provides services “as‑is” to the extent permitted by law and does not guarantee uninterrupted access to systems, websites, or electronic services. EPHA is not responsible for technical issues outside of its control.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, EPHA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services or systems.
9. Modifications to These Terms
EPHA may update or revise these Terms as required by law or policy. Updated Terms will become effective when posted, distributed, or otherwise communicated.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable federal regulations.
